Peace and All Good

What the Franciscan greeting asks of us at home, at work and in our parish.

“Peace and all good” is more than a polite greeting. For Francis it was a blessing and a programme of life. To wish someone peace is to commit ourselves to building it.

Peace at home

Peace begins with small things: a gentle word at the end of a tiring day, forgiveness offered before sleep, a meal shared without screens.

Peace in the village

Our parishes can become schools of peace when we welcome the stranger, listen to the young and care for those who are alone.
