Voice of Poverello
About the magazine
Voice of Poverello is a weekly bilingual Catholic magazine for families, parishes and young people, inspired by the joy and simplicity of St. Francis of Assisi — "il Poverello", the little poor man.
Our mission
To share the Gospel, the lives of the saints, devotion to Mother Mary and the stories of our parishes in Tamil and English, with care for accuracy and charity.
How every article is reviewed
Each article passes editorial review and, where it concerns faith or doctrine, review by a priest before it is published. Approvals apply to a specific version of the text; any later change is reviewed again.
An independent publication
Voice of Poverello is an independent Catholic magazine inspired by Franciscan spirituality. It is not an official publication of the Holy See, any diocese, or the Franciscan or Capuchin Orders.
